New York, N.Y., Dec. 1
Today, Henry Repeating Arms, one of America’s leading firearms manufacturers, announced a donation of $50,000 to First Responders Children’s Foundation (FRCF).
FRCF was founded in 2001 in the immediate aftermath of 9/11 for the 800 surviving children who lost a first responder parent on that tragic day. Since then, FRCF has grown to be a national non-profit focusing on four key program areas: scholarships for children of first responders injured or killed in the line of duty; Financial Assistance Grants/Line of Duty Death Bereavement Support; a Mental Health Resiliency Program; and First Responder Community Engagement.
“The primary focus of our Guns for Great Causes program has always been about children, which is why we are extremely proud to help support such an esteemed and worthwhile organization,” said Henry Repeating Arms CEO and Founder Anthony Imperato. “No one does a better job of meeting the real financial needs and taking care of the children and families of our fallen heroes.” The donation is part of a $1 million pledge made to celebrate the company’s 25th anniversary through a charitable branch called Guns for Great Causes.
Chief Development Officer of FRCF, Randy Acosta (L), with Henry Repeating Arms CEO & Founder Anthony Imperato (R).
“FRCF is deeply grateful to Anthony Imperato and Henry Repeating Arms for their generous commitment to supporting first responders and their children. This donation will help to support our mental health resiliency program, which provides confidential, trauma-informed counseling at no cost to children of first responders,” said FRCF President and CEO Jillian Crane. “Henry is an iconic American family-owned business supporting the first responder community since day one. This partnership will make a real difference in the lives of first responder families.”
For the past twenty-five years, Henry’s Guns for Great Causes has helped a wide variety of beneficiaries, including individual families of sick children going through medical treatments, children’s hospitals, military veteran organizations, law enforcement and first responder groups, and wildlife and habitat conservation agencies.

We will always continue to give back as much as possible to those who allow us to continue to do business in the land of the free. It’s such a deeply ingrained part of our company DNA.”

Then on November 2nd, Imperato presented the Disabled American Veterans with $50,000 at their headquarters in Cold Spring, Kentucky, followed by another $50,000 to Building Homes for Heroes on November 10th at their gala in New York City. The recent string of donations is preceded by several more that occurred throughout the Summer, with the company donating a total of $175,000 to the Tunnel to Towers Foundation in June, the Veterans of Foreign Wars in July, the American Legion in August, the Shadow Warriors Project in September.
Over the years, Imperato has called countless veterans and war heroes to join him on stage to be presented with Henry’s Military Service Tribute Edition rifle, the company’s permanent salute to America’s military men and women. Notable recipients include Congressional Medal of Honor recipients Ty Carter and Don Jenkins, D-Day combat medic Ray Lambert, WWII veteran and Olympic runner Louis Zamperini, USS Indianapolis survivor Edgar Harrell, and many more.
Imperato concludes, “No matter how much we give back to these men and women and the organizations that support them, it will never be enough. It’s a debt that cannot be repaid.”

Henry Repeating Arms Donations Exceed $50,000 for Shadow Warriors Project
Rice Lake, WI – Sept. 22, 2022
Shadow Warriors Project co-founder Mark “Oz” Geist (L) and Henry Repeating Arms CEO and Founder Anthony Imperato (R) at the first annual ‘Honor The Brave’ fundraising gala in Miami, Florida on September 11, 2022.
Following an annual fundraising gala in Miami, Florida, and the conclusion of an online auction for a one-of-one rifle designed, built, and donated by Henry Repeating Arms, the company is pleased to announce a total figure raised in the amount of $52,175 to benefit Shadow Warriors Project. The non-profit organization is the only one of its kind providing post-engagement support for injured private military security contractors returning home from battle in some of the world’s most hostile locations.
Shadow Warriors Project was co-founded by Mark “Oz” Geist, a member of the CIA Annex Security Team that found itself the target of a terrorist attack on September 11, 2012, in Benghazi, Libya, where he is credited with saving the lives of more than 25 Americans. On the tenth anniversary of these attacks, Shadow Warriors Project held its first annual ‘Honor The Brave’ fundraising gala in Miami, Florida, where Henry Repeating Arms CEO and Founder Anthony Imperato presented Geist with a check for $25,000 to enhance their mission. Throughout the evening, three more donated Henry Repeating Arms rifles raised $2,150 from silent auctions.
Recently, an online auction concluded for one of the most exclusive rifles ever built in Henry Repeating Arm’s 25-year history. Based on the 1860 patent for the first successful and practical repeating rifle, Henry Repeating Arms’ one-off rifle featured hand-chased engraving on a hardened brass receiver and a buttstock made from rare exhibition-grade American walnut wood. The engraving work included the Shadow Warriors Project logo on one side and the Seal of the President of the United States on the opposite. The virtual hammer dropped with a winning bid of $25,025, which goes to Shadow Warriors Project.
“We are thrilled with the auction results, and to anyone that placed a bid or helped to spread the word, I thank you sincerely,” said Imperato. “For sure, it’s a feather in our cap to have a rifle sell for so much, but it’s also a testament to Mark, his organization’s great work, and the unsung, under-the-radar group of men and women that Shadow Warriors Project is so dedicated to supporting. Everyone involved should be proud of what has been accomplished so far.”
Proceeds to Support Private Military Security Contractors Returning from Battle in the World’s Most Dangerous Locations
Rice Lake, WI – Sept. 2, 2022
Henry is proud to announce its latest Guns For Great Causes campaign with the donation of a one-of-a-kind New Original Henry Rifle to benefit the Shadow Warriors Project, co-founded by speaker, best-selling author, and former private military security contractor, Mark “Oz” Geist. The ornately engraved firearm is currently up for auction on Gunbroker.com, with 100% of the proceeds from the winning bid going directly to funding Shadow Warrior Project’s endeavors. Early estimates suggest the auction could exceed $50,000.
Mark Geist served in the United States Marine Corps for 12 years before deciding to extend his service to the country as a special operative contractor, where he became part of an elite security team for a CIA outpost in Benghazi, Libya. This facility would become the target of the Islamic militant group Ansar al-Sharia on September 11, 2012, and Geist is credited with saving the lives of 25 Americans during the siege. The actions of Geist and the rest of his team are depicted in the New York Times best-seller, 13 Hours: The Inside Account of What Really Happened in Benghazi, and a feature film titled “13 Hours: The Secret Soldiers of Benghazi.”
Shadow Warriors Project was started by Geist and his wife Krystal after he returned home mentally and physically injured, unable to work, and with no official support programs due to his status as a private contractor. Unlike active military members or veterans, there is no post-engagement support for private security contractors returning from battle overseas. The Shadow Warriors Project’s goal is to serve as a lifeline by offering financial assistance for medical bills, PTSD treatments, and other necessary rehabilitation to ease the transition into everyday civilian life. It is the only organization of its kind. Beneficiaries of the foundation are private military security contractors hired by the CIA or private firms that have conducted paramilitary security operations in some of the world’s most volatile locations.
“To learn about Mark’s service and understand what he and his brothers have gone through before, during, and after the 2012 Benghazi attack is humbling and nothing short of awe-inspiring,” says Henry Repeating Arms CEO and Founder Anthony Imperato. “Henry Repeating Arms wholeheartedly backs Mark and Krystal’s valiant mission and any organization dedicated to bettering the lives of those who sacrificed so much for our freedom and liberty. We pulled out all the stops for this rifle, so now my fingers are crossed for an auction record.”
Henry Repeating Arms is donating one of the most exclusive rifles ever built in the company’s history, a custom 1-of-1 Shadow Warriors Project edition New Original Henry Rifle featuring hand-chased engraving and rare exhibition-grade American walnut furniture. The rifle bears the Shadow Warriors Project emblem on one side of the hardened brass receiver, the Seal of the President of the United States on the opposite, and a unique custom “SW911” serial number. Flourishing leafy-vine scrollwork and a scalloped border fill out the embellishments on both sides of the rifle.
Besides using modern materials to accommodate contemporary ammunition, the rifle is accurate to Benjamin Tyler Henry’s 1860 patent for the first successful repeating rifle and one of America’s most legendary contributions to the international stage of firearms design. Features include a one-piece octagon barrel and 13-round tube magazine that are deeply blued and highly polished, a polished brass crescent buttplate with a period-correct “trapdoor” compartment, a folding ladder rear sight and brass blade front sight, and a traditional half-cock safety mechanism.
The online auction, available at https://www.gunbroker.com/item/946003221, concludes on Friday, September 16th at 9:00 AM Eastern. All firearm sales must ship to a federally licensed dealer. Celebrating its 25th anniversary this year, Henry Repeating Arms’ CEO and Founder Anthony Imperato made a milestone $1,000,000 pledge to highlight the company’s charitable branch called Guns For Great Causes.
