Earning the status of a Top 100 Henry Dealer is not about selling more Henry rifles and shotguns than everyone else. It’s something that we know a thing or two about from stories told by Henry President and Owner, Anthony Imperato’s time behind the retail counter of his family’s gun business in downtown Manhattan. Celebrating their 50th anniversary this year, Jay’s Sporting Goods was started by Jay Poet and his wife Arlene in 1971 out of a 1-car garage in Clare, MI. A second location was added in Gaylord in 1987, and while both of these locations have moved into substantially bigger buildings since, they are both still located in the two original cities where they started. To this day, Jay’s is still family-owned with JJ Poet, Jay’s son, now running the ship.

To celebrate their 50th Anniversary, Jay’s Sporting Goods chose two different Henry models, the Golden Boy and the Classic Lever Action Carbine, for a limited-edition run with custom engraved buttstocks.
